HIGHLIGHTS
Shang-Chi movie release date is September 3Shang-Chi got the first trailer. On Monday, Marvel unveiled a two-minute trailer for Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, the next Marvel Cinematic Universe film following the upcoming widow directed by Scarlett Johansson. Shang-Chi's first trailer features the main character (Si Liu), his father Wenwu (Tony Leung) who is the leader of the Rings Rings, and his best friend Katy (Awkwafina). It also unveils many settings for the first Marvel Asian superhero movie, ranging from future battles to legendary battles involving giant bears. In India, Shang-Chi will release in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
We see the Shang-Chi train alone as the Shang-Chi trailer begins, before we see it as a valet in an American hotel. "I have given you ten years to live your life," Wenwu said in a voice, speaking to his son. “Where did that come from?” Shang-Chi is seen leading a typical American life, going to karaoke, partying with Katy, and clicking selfies. The Shang-Chi trailer gives us a glimpse of his childhood, which included hard training - something that old Shang-Chi seemed to have an interest in escaping.
"He's gone in my shadow," continued his father Wenwu as we saw Shang-Chi youths working with black-clad men with knives. "I trained you so that the most dangerous people in the world could kill you." Wear a person wearing all black and a white mask. Wenwu adds: "Son, it's time for you to stay with me." Wenwu has made it clear to Shang-Chi that he will be the next leader of Ten Rings, the terrorist organization we first met in 2008 at Iron Man. But Shang-Chi has no interest in doing so, and he says a lot to Shang-Chi caravans.
Every other Shang-Chi caption trailer is made up of action captions. Some of them feel reminiscent of wire fu movies like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, others feel like they’re moving The Matrix (which should be a part of phone fu anyway), and there’s Jackie Chan’s feature too. It’s all martial art, right, that’s what I’m trying to say. Unexpectedly, there is a funny scene at the end with Katy driving a fast bus that reminds me of Speed of 1994.
In addition to Liu, Leung, and Awkwafina, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings also played Fal Chen as his estranged sister with Shang-Chi Jiang Li, Ronny Chieng as Jon Jon, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan. Behind the scenes, Destin Daniel Cretton is the director of Shang-Chi, working on the screen play of David Callaham. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is a producer.
Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings have been released on September 3 worldwide, only in movies - the Shang-Chi claim states It's Because the Black Widow is coming to both cinemas and Disney + via Premier Access on release date.
