Google's search engine plans to release a new feature for its extensions - Chrome 90 that will allow users to create a link to a pre-defined website section.

As per the report, first introduced as a browser extension "Text Link" last year, Google has now added a feature within the Channel itself.

This feature, however, is being offered to other users as a trial.

According to a blog post from Google Product Manager Kayce Hawkins, one should follow the steps below to update the new feature:

"Visit the web page, highlight the text you want to create a link to, right-click, and select" Copy link to highlight ". . "

The search engine chief had indicated that the `` highlight copy 'feature was already available on desktops and Android devices for some users. However, this feature will soon be available to iOS users, the company was notified.
